Following a complicated personal situation we had a huge chance that Mrs. Caroline Oliver could listen to us and guide us for the rest of our holidays. I thank her very much. It is this type of contact that makes you feel good in a hotel !!! Bravo !!!

We visited the hotel from 10 to 15 August 2019. So it has: 1. view = 10/10. You only see the sea and Valletta. 2. Breakfast = 10/10. We never ate lunch in Malta since we had eaten excessively and in the morning in the hotel !! 3. Staff = 11 / 10. guardian angels for visitors !!! 4. Area = 10/10. By the sea. Next to the market. 5. Balances = 9.5 / 10 ./// Overall the hotel was an excellent choice. It has been a great help to have a wonderful holiday in Malta. The light shows the view we had every day from the room.

Just returned home from these apartments. What can I say spacious spotless and central location. Everything you needed and also had the use of the pool top terrace on the bluebay hotel right on the harbour front over looking Valletta.

These apartments are wonderfully clean and have everything you need, even an iron and ironing board, and a fully functioning kitchen area, not that I used it, very modern, loved it. We would definitely go again.

Staff: receptionists were super friendly and helpful. When our taxi was late, they personally called the company to ask what was up. On the day of departure, thanks to their helpfulness we could still have a swim on their rooftop pool, shower and change before leaving for the airport. Room: big, clean, wonderful view. Breakfast: adequate Location: perfect! Ferries and restaurants around the corner. Also a bar in front of hotel were you could still enjoy cold beers at 11pm at the end of the day.

in front of the hotel there are all land and sea connections to the island. the staff is super friendly and helpful. the rooms are large and comfortable (maybe a little maintenance would not hurt). although on the fourth floor, perhaps because it was a room facing the street, a bit noisy. average breakfast
Great service, staff and location.

My wife and I stayed in room 206 from 15 May for one week we had a wonderful time at this superbly run hotel. A special mention and thanks to George who always made himself available should we need any advice or assistance. We look forward to visiting Malta again as this was our first visit and this hotel will be our place to reside as first impressions count. Thank you once again to George and all the staff.

I had read the reviews of other people who had stayed here, and was worried that we were going to arrive to an "Inbetweeners" scene. Not the case at all. We arrive around midday, and couldn't check in until about 2pm. We left our cases in the luggage room, and ventured out until that time. I already knew that we might not be in the same building as to where you check-in, and as we booked a 3 bedroom apartment this was our case. The receptionist explained to us that we could still use the pool which is on the roof of the check-in building and also the pool and restaurant at their sister hotel, The Bayview not far from there. We were then taken by 2 male members of staff, who helped us with our cases, to the building we were staying in. It was literally a U-turn style walk between the 2, 3 mins away if that. It isn't situated on the main promenade front, but on a typical traditional Malta street, which I loved. We were on the 2nd floor, which was easily accessible up the stairs. But obviously on this occasion we used the lift. Coming out of the lift, it does look like they are probably doing some sort of work there (possibly a new lift shaft), but I can honestly say we were never bothered by any noise from it, whatever is being done. When we went into our apartment I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by what we had. It was really big and clean. Slight wearing on the sofa, but to honest, who cares, we weren't there to lounge in the apartment for 12 days. 3 bedrooms, all with air-con that worked. Clean, freshly made beds and 2 sets of clean towels to each bedroom. Lots of drawer and wardrobe space (although long dresses couldn't be hung up due to how the hanging rails were situated. Just laid those out on the bed si as not to crease). The cleaners came in everyday and straightened up the beds, emptied the bins and left fresh towels. We had left a couple of glasses in the sink the 1st morning, they even washed those up for us. Sheets were changed on the beds being used on a regular basis. The cleaning ladies always smiled and said hello if we were around when they were on our floor. A room safe was available at a small cost. I paid €35 for the whole 11 night stay, of which there was a €10 refundable deposit. Our apartment had 2 bathrooms, one of which was an ensuite in what was my sons bedroom. Apart from some neighbours that forgot they weren't at home when they came in at night, me and my children thouroughly enjoyed our stay there. When I booked, all I wanted was somewhere to put our belongings, somewhere to sleep and maybe eat breakfast in. We got that but it did also feel like our home away from home while we were there. I would definately recommend Blubay to anyone who wanted the same sort of thing as us.
